She showed me as many properties as I wanted to see and would point out things about them that I would have missed. For example, she made me aware of the foundation issues that affect the neighborhood where I was focused and explained that I needed to look for certain things in the inspection and recommended a hydrostatic slab test. She focused on helping me get a property that would fit my needs and lifestyle. When I met her, I was already discouraged with the home buying process because I had met a realtor that was pushing me to buy expensive properties that I did not like or need. I went to an open house and she was so friendly and helpful that I immediately wanted to work with her. She actually told me the house she was showing that day was wrong for me because of some of my particular needs that I mentioned. I genuinely believe she always had my best interests in mind through the process. She was always very prompt in responding to me and talked me through any issue I wanted clarification on. When it came to negotiation, she helped me get an offer accepted in a very hot market, and was very skillful in getting repairs I wanted completed by the seller and adjusting the price. Theresa is a sweetheart who will go the extra mile to ensure you have what you need. She returns calls in a very timely manner and she will meet with you whenever you request. If she does not have the answer for you, she will do her research until she gets you your answer. She provided names and phone numbers for home maintenance contractors when I asked about who to use in the area. She has the experience and knowledge in the industry to get things done right.
